About cat.treks

cat.treks is a women-only group adventure travel brand. We take women on trips they wouldn't book alone, with a crew they haven't met yet --- and most of them come home having made real friends.

We design for the part most travel companies ignore: how a group of strangers becomes a crew. That's a product problem, not a marketing one, and it runs through everything we build.

cat.treks sits alongside ESC (snowboard camps) in the same small group. You'll have your own brand to work on and a team around you who've built one before.

You build the trips and make sure they run. You design itineraries women actually want, find the right partners, get us good rates, and make sure every departure happens on time and on budget.

What you'll do

  • Design itineraries โ€” the flow of each day, the activities, the rest, and the moments where the group becomes a crew

  • Research and source vendors: accommodation, transport, guides, activity operators, restaurants. Vet every one for how they treat a group of women travelling without men

  • Negotiate preferential partner rates, allotments, and fair cancellation terms

  • Build and price each trip: cost sheet, margin, minimum travellers to run

  • Run operations end to end: rooming lists, transfers, guide schedules, vendor confirmations, on-trip issues, handover after each departure

  • Manage vendor contracts, invoices and payments with finance

  • Write the trip details travellers see โ€” what's included, what to pack, how a day runs

  • Track what goes wrong on each trip and fix it in the next one

  • Travel to trips when needed to set up or host them

What you need

  • 3+ years in travel, tour operations, events or hospitality

  • A track record of negotiating with suppliers and saving real money

  • Strong with spreadsheets: costing, margins, forecasts

  • Calm and practical when a transfer is late or a room falls through

  • Fluent English; a second language useful for our destinations is a plus

Nice to have

  • Ground operations experience in the regions we run

  • You've travelled solo, or led a group trip

  • Familiar with booking systems, Xero or Supabase-style tools

Why you'll like it

  • You'll shape the product, not just run someone else's

  • Direct say in which destinations we open next

  • An early-stage brand where the trips you design are the business

What every role gets

  • A seat on a small team that moves fast and ships real things

  • Time on snow at our camps, where the role allows it

  • Direct access to the founders, not layers of management

  • Room to grow the role as the company grows
